We are excited to announce that the College of Sustainable Operations will be hosting the mini-conference at POMS 2023 on May 21st, the day before the main conference!

The POMS College of Sustainable Operations would like to announce the results for the Student Paper Competition. We received 22 high-quality paper submissions this year.

Results for the Production and Operations Management Society (POMS) College of Sustainable Operations 2018 Student Paper Competition.

This year's College Mini-Conference was held on May 3, before the 2018 POMS Annual Conference in Houston. The event kicked off with a panel discussion of pollution issues in the state of Texas, organized by Luke Metzger, the Executive Director of Environment Texas.

The POMS College of Sustainable Operations held its annual Mini-Conference on May 4, 2017, the day before the start of the main POMS conference at Seattle, WA. The mini-conference had a visit to the Boeing Renton Plant.

The POMS College of Sustainable Operations held its annual Mini-Conference on May 5, 2016, the day before the start of the main POMS conference at Orlando, FL. The mini-conference had three sessions. The first session had industry speakers followed by a panel discussion.

The POMS College of Sustainable Operations held its annual Mini-Conference on May 7, 2015, the day before the start of the main POMS conference at Washington D.C. The mini-conference had a group of exciting speakers with a combination of research, teaching and industry.

The Colleges of Sustainable Operations and Supply Chain Management hosted a joint mini-conference on Thursday 8 May 2014 in honor of the 25th anniversary of POMS. The event was held in Atlanta, Georgia one day prior to the main POMS conference.

The 2012 Mini-Conference of the POMS College of Sustainable Operations was held at the Chicago Marriot Downtown Magnificent Mile in Chicago, IL on April 19, 2012, and was focused on sustainability across the supply chain from a perspective of industry.

The 2011 Mini-Conference of the POMS College of Sustainable Operations was held at the Peppermill Hotel in Reno, NV, on Thursday April 28, 2011, and focused on carbon footprint. It was co-chaired by Atalay Atasu (Georgia Tech), and Edgar Blanco (MIT).

The Mini-Conference of the POMS College of Sustainable Operations was successfully held at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Center Hotel on May 6, 2010. The Mini-Conference brought together more than 30 researchers who shared the common interest in sustainability and sustainable operations.
