The Chelliah Sriskandarajah Early Career Research Accomplishments Award (previously known as the “Wickham Skinner Early Career Research Accomplishments Award”), hereafter “the Award,” will be presented during the POMS Annual Conference. 

As a leading professional society in the field of production and operations management, POMS has the responsibility to shape the development of this field through recognizing and rewarding academics who have achieved unusually high accomplishment early in their careers. 

For the Award, there will be at most two winners: first place with a prize of $1,000 and the runner‐up with a prize of $500, or if both tied for the first place each with a prize of $1,000. No award will be given if the submissions do not meet the standards. The Award includes:

1. Public recognition of the award winner(s) at the POMS Annual Conference
2. A plaque
3. A check for the appropriate amount.
