2024 HOCM Mini-Conference: Thursday, April 25, 2024

The HOCM College will be hosting our annual mini-conference on Thursday, April 25, one day before the main conference. Join us to explore new topics relevant to humanitarian operations and crisis management and learn from practitioners and academics. This is an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas with experts and colleagues that will inform and inspire your research!

This year’s mini-conference – “Humanitarian Operations 2050” – will focus on the future of HOCM. We will be welcoming a fantastic line-up of speakers, including Deepti Tanuku (International Medical Corps), Sarah Penniman-Morin (International Rescue Committee), Martin Keitsch (LogCluster), Florent Chane (ESUPS), and Claire Barnhoorn (Solvoz). Please find the agenda and abstracts attached; all times are in Minneapolis’ time zone (CST).

Before the mini-conference starts at 1PM, we will be offering a lunch to all participants from 12PM at the Northstar Ballroom.
