POMS CSO Emerging Scholar Award

The POMS College of Service Operations invite nominations for the Emerging Scholar Award. The award is aimed at recognising early career scholars who have shown great potential for becoming thought leaders in the field of Service Operations. To be eligible for the award, applicants should have received a doctoral degree on or after 2018, be a member of the POMS College of Service Operations (or intend to become so) and be attending the POMS 2025 Annual Conference.

Applicants must submit the following items:

 

• Cover letter of no more than 2 pages highlighting your contribution to the field of Service Operations
• CV
• Copies of 1 to 3 of your most representative papers (including working papers if preferred)
• 1 or 2 recommendation letters, confidential or not, discussing the applicant’s contribution to Service Operations research and/or practice

 

The award recipient will present in a special Service Operations Track session dedicated to showcasing the impactful work of both the Emerging Scholar and Lifetime Achievement recipients!

The required materials must be submitted by no later than February 14, 2025 to CSO.Emerging.2025@gmail.com.
